Alix Averitt (b. Paris, France) is a French-American photographer & creative director whose evolving work blurs the lines between the staged and the spontaneous across fine art portraiture and fashion photography. She received her B.F.A in Studio Art with a concentration in photography from the College of Charleston School of the Arts.

Averitt’s work has been featured in several group exhibitions internationally and has been featured in numerous publications. Throughout her developing practice, her belief remains consistent: every photograph is an ongoing exploration of self, femininity, and the world around her—an open conversation rather than a fixed statement, in which she exists simultaneously as the subject and the observer.
